Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan was discharged from Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Wednesday. Doctors permitted him to return home following the successful completion of surgery on his right shoulder.
The Surgery and Treatment
Pawan Kalyan had been suffering from rotator cuff issues in both shoulders for some time. He was admitted to the hospital on the 10th of this month for treatment. A team of doctors subsequently performed surgery on his right shoulder, a procedure that lasted approximately three and a half hours.
Recovery and Doctor’s Advice
While the operation was successful, doctors reported that he is recovering rapidly after undergoing treatment under their constant supervision for the past four days. However, they have advised him to rest for a few more days to ensure a full recovery.
It is reported that he was also advised to strictly adhere to the doctors’ instructions during this period. While Pawan was undergoing treatment, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu personally visited the hospital to call on him.
The Chief Minister inquired about Pawan’s health status from the doctors and expressed his hope for a speedy and complete recovery, wishing for his early return to public service. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier called Pawan Kalyan after a previous surgery, praising his courage.
